¡Buenos días a todos!

¡Lunes y festivo! Últimamente he acumulado unas cuantas compritas de Primark y quería enseñároslo todo por si os interesaba algo de ello ya que todo está aún en tienda y algunos artículos incluso están rebajados. Se trata sobre todo de cositas funcionales para el hogar o elementos que me parece que lo hacen más agradable y acogedor.

Monday again and it’s a bank holiday here in Spain today! I’ve been buying some stuff from Primark lately and I wanted to show you all the items now that they are still available in store. Some of them are even on sale. They are mostly home decorative items and things designed to make our homes comfortable and cosy.

 

Lo primero que os muestro son dos cuadritos con frases motivadoras que me encantan. Me gusta mucho tener en casa cosas que me recuerden cada día que hay muchas razones para sonreír y seguir adelante y mirar alrededor y leer este tipo de mensajes son un recurso más para cargarme las pilas de energía positiva. Estaban ambos rebajados, así que el de madera me costó 1,50€ y el transparente (que por cierto queda genial sobre una pared de un color llamativo) me costó 2,00€.

The first two items I wanted to show you are these two pictures with inspiring messages. I love to fill my house with stuff that reminds me that there are many good reasons to smile and move on, and looking around and being able to read this type of messages is another tool that will lighten my spirit and invite me to have a more positive attitude. The price of the wooden one is €1.50 and the crystal one costs €2.00.

 

 

También compré este «perrito escocés» monísimo que parece un muñeco pero que es, en realidad, un tope de puerta. Tengo este tipo de tope en todas las puertas de casa pero con otras formas (buhos, ranas…) pero cuando vi este me gustó tanto que no pude evitar llevármelo :). Precio: 7,00€.

I also bought this adorable «Scotish dog» which seems to be a toy but that is actually a door stop. I have this type of item at every door at home in other forms and shapes (frogs, owls…) but when I saw this one I thought it was so cute that I couln’t help buying it :). Price: €7.00.

 

Lo que podéis apreciar en esta foto es una taza térmica (2,00€) y una botella normal de plástico naranja con una pajita larga incorporada (3,50€). La taza me parece súper útil, ya que la llevo a todas partes y me mantiene el café calentito. La botella la compré porque me cuesta mucho beber agua a lo largo del día. Soy de esas personas que sólo beben agua cuando tienen mucha sed, así que pensé que llevar esta botellita me haría más fácil recordar que necesito estar hidratada.

What you can see in this photograph is a thermal mug (€2.00) and a regular plastic bottle (orange) with an incorporated long straw (€3.50). I find the mug so useful as I take it everywhere and it keeps my coffee warm and ready to drink 😉 I bought the orange bottle because I find it really hard to keep drinking water throughout the day. I am the type of person who will only drink water when being really thirsty and I thought that taking this bottle with me would remind me that I need to get hydrated.

El siguiente artículo es una caja de madera que adquirí para utilizarla como joyero pero que puede ser usada para otras cositas también. Su precio es de 6,00€.

Next item is a nice wooden box that I acquired to store part of my jewelry but that can be used for many other purposes. The price of this box is €6.00.

 

 

También compré una plantita artificial (3,50€) y una velita con olor a vainilla (1,00€). Me encantan las velas porque creo que crean ambiente y hacen más acogedor el hogar, así que cada vez que voy a Primark me traigo alguna y he de decir que el olor de esta es una pasada. En cuanto a la planta, tengo otras que había ido comprando anteriormente en Ikea, pero esta me pareció ideal para mi mesa de oficina, así que se vino también conmigo 🙂

Other things I purchased were an artificial plant (€3.50) and a vanilla scented candle (€1.00). I love candles cause I think they add warmth and ambience so everytime I go to Primark I buy one, and I have to say that the smell of this one is gorgeous. As regards to the plant, I already have some others that I bought at Ikea a while ago but I thought this one would be perfect for my office desk, so I took it home 🙂 

 

 

Hace unas semanas vi en youtube estas velas artificiales (10,00€) y pensé que eran muy chulas, así que fui a por ellas. Se controlan con un mando a distancia con el que puedes elegir la intensidad y el tipo de luz (modo vela o fijo). Por fuera son de cera de verdad pero por dentro tienen una llama de LED.

A few weeks ago, I saw these flameless candles (€10.00) on youtube and I thought they were really cool. They have a remote control so that you can choose their intensity and different type of light. They are real wax candles on the outside but they have LED flickering flames on the inside.

 

 

Había leído buenas opiniones sobre las nuevas brochas de Primark, así que decidí coger estas dos: «Double Ended Stippling Brush» (2,50€) y «Smokey Eye Shadow Brush» (1,50€). Las he trasteado un poco pero no las he usado aún. La primera impresión es buena, ya que parecen bastante suaves en la mano, pero no puedo daros una opinión formada hasta que las haya usado en la cara, así que ya más adelante os diré.

Por último compré también una brochita que viene llena de polvos de sol iluminadores («Sunkissed Shimmer Dust Brush»). Lo mismo, sólo la he probado en la mano pero cuando la pruebe por derecho os cuento. Su precio es de 2,50€

I’d read some good reviews about the new Primark makeup brushes, so I decided to buy these two: «Double Ended Stippling Brush» (€2.50) and «Smokey Eye Shadow Brush» (€1.50). I haven’t tried them on my face yet, so I can’t give a proper opinion. However, first impression is a good one as they seem to be quite soft on the hand.

Finally, I also bought a brush which is filled with illuminating bronzing powder («Sunkissed Shimmer Dust Brush»). I haven’t  used it so I’ll also let you know more once I’ve tried it on my face. Price: €2,50.
